Description |
Augusta Kleinbosch, a National Monument dating back to 1792, lies on the outskirts of Paarl at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein mountains. This working wine and guava farm offers well appointed and charming accommodation. All individually furnished rooms are lovingly restored and decorated with paintings and sculptures of mainly South African artists. Some rooms have open fireplaces, underfloor heating and satellite TV. The lush and mature gardens have tranquil views and the sparkling pool surrounded by mango trees invites you to linger. Excellent breakfasts and à la carte dinners in the restaurant. Good farm road 3 km.

Directions to Get There :
From Cape Town take the N1 to Paarl/Worcester. Take the exit 62A from the N1 and turn left into Sonstraal Road. Pass two 4-way stops (about 2,2km) and follow the sign Swawelstert Road to the right. After 2,7km, turn right at T-crossing and follow the sign Augusta Kleinbosch. Gravel road for 1,2km.
