Bishops Glen is a large cattle stud and irrigation farm adjoining a game farm off the N1 highway, 15 minutes north of Bloemfontein in the Free State. Originally a mission station built about 200 years ago, today Ted and Bits offer warm old world hospitality in their Guest House and Guest Farm. Bedrooms open onto a verandah and tranquil garden, all have TV, electric blankets, heater, fan, hairdryer and tea tray. Over 200 bird species. Listen for the calls of the resident fish eagles, walk through the reserve spotting antelope, or enjoy a game drive. Dam and river fishing. Large secluded pool.
