Directions to Get There :
Buchu Bushacmp is situated 1km west of the De Hoop Nature Reserve’s main gate.
From Cape Town take the N2 to Caledon, and from Caledon the R316 to Napier and Bredasdorp. At the third 4-way stop street in Bredasdorp turn left onto the R319 towards Swellendam. Approximately 8km from town turn right onto the gravel road to the De Hoop Nature Reserve and travel 34km to the De Hoop Road. Turn right and travel a further 6km towards the main gate of the De Hoop Nature Reserve.
From the Garden Route. Take the N2 towards Cape Town. Approximately ±4km on the Cape Town side of Swellendam turn LEFT onto the gravel road towards Malgas and Infanta. Continue on this road for about 24km, before turning RIGHT, at the De Hoop signpost. Then turn RIGHT at the T-junction and travel a further 4km to the De Hoop Road. Turn LEFT onto the De Hoop Road and continue for 6km to the main gate of the De Hoop Nature Reserve.
