In the heart of the Cango valley, De Poort is 15 km from Oudtshoorn en route to the Cango Caves, crocodile and ostrich farms, and offers spectacular views of the valley. The thatched lodge is owned and managed by Leon and Rita, who welcome you with true Klein Karoo hospitality. The large comfortable bedrooms, some with air-conditioning and underfloor heating, have separate private entrances, fridges and tea trays. Dinner by arrangement. Wide open spaces, fresh air and pool. Parking. Children welcome. TGCSA 4-Star Guest House.
