Description |
(Location: Near Durban) Set in 5 000-hectares in the lush Umkomaas Valley, Duma Manzi has dramatic valley, gorge and river views. Above the river with views of the towering sandstone cliffs are two lodges. Newly built Sandstone Lodge has 5 luxury chalets, each with private plunge pool and glass doors leading from the bedroom and bathroom onto a wooden deck with views of the river. The original Fish Eagle Lodge offers 4 open-plan chalets each with a view of the bush or river, and a communal pool set amongst natural rock under trees overlooking the river. Guided game drives or walks viewing buffalo, rhino, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and plenty of plains game. A birder’s paradise and a nature lover’s dream. Weddings and conferences. Durban 1 hour.
