A welcoming family run bushveld hideaway, built with stone and thatch, on the edge of a picturesque gorge and waterfall, less than 2 hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Set in a 2 500 hectare malaria free conservancy, Iwamanzi is home to rhino, giraffe, hippo, the rare sable, brown hyena and elusive leopard with plains game and 250 bird species. The homely chalets include modern comforts such as tea trays and bar fridges and each has a private deck. Daily game drives and walks, then relax at the pool or riverside lapa, or fish in the many dams. TGCSA 4-Star Lodge. Dutch and German spoken.
