    Description
    Walking with a guest whilst tracking lions in the magnificent Madikwe Reserve, Jan discovered a site that would within a few years become the foundation for Jaci’s Safari Lodge and later Jaci’s Tree Lodge. The dynamic combination of Jan’s vision to create an authentic tented safari lodge and Jaci’s passion for the vibrant colours of Africa, ensured a dream became reality. The sister Lodges now lie adjacent to one another in malaria-free Madikwe which plays host to the “Top Ten” of game viewing animals. Jaci’s Safari Lodge is a unique, openplan thatched area built around a huge termite mound and is popular with families. The rooms are a combination of stone, canvas and thatch and each room has a private wooden deck which overlooks a small ravine and running stream. Jaci’s Tree Lodge comprises tree houses, each encompassing a large tamboetie or leadwood tree. Raised wooden walkways link all rooms to the main Lodge. Enjoy morning and evening game drives, relax at the pool or take a nap in one of the hammocks. Dine around the fire, under the stars. For a doubly pleasurable stay, combine both Lodges. Member of Classic Safari Camps of Africa. Perfect for romantic safaris.
