Description |
(Location: near Kenton-On-Sea) A natural extension to the Garden Route, this malaria-free Big 5 private game reserve is set in the pristine wilderness of the Kariega River valley. In addition to morning and evening game drives, guests can enjoy river cruises, canoeing, hiking trails and mountain biking. River Lodge is a TGCSA 5-Star Lodge built on the banks of the Bushman’s River and comprises 10 superbly appointed spacious thatched rooms with sitting areas. Ukhozi Lodge offers spacious luxury rooms, each with private plunge pool and stunning views. Main Lodge has large comfortable log chalets, ideal for families. Beaches 15 minutes. TGCSA 4-Star Lodge.
Rates are per person sharing with all meals and 2 game drives.
Main Lodge (21 Chalets) from R1 800. Ukhozi (10 Rooms) from R2 100. River Lodge (10 Rooms) from R2 400.

Directions to Get There :
From Port Elizabeth take the N2 to Grahamstown and choose one of two alternative routes, namely the Coastal Route on the R72 via Alexandria to Kenton-on-Sea where you turn inland and proceed for 14 km on the R343, or proceed on the N2 towards Grahamstown for about 110 km turning to your right before reaching Grahamstown onto the tarred road (R343) to Salem and Kenton-on-Sea for a distance of 32 km. The turnoffs on both routes are well signposted.
