Ko-Ka Tsara Bush Camp

Ko-Ka Tsara Bush Camp is in Beaufort West in the heart of the Great Karoo. This privately owned 30 000 acres offers more than 20 species of game including giraffe, kudu, gemsbok, wildebeest and eland. Ko-Ka Tsara Bush Camp meaning "small bucks kloof" in Khoi, is set in the Nuweveld mountains of the Great Karoo, 8 km outside Beaufort West in the Western Cape. Birdlife is prolific with nearly 200 different varieties recorded on the Reserve. The bush camp offers 7 chalets, lounge and Conference Centre, bar and boma surrounded by rocky crags and the Nuweveld mountains. The Chalets were designed and built by the game farm owner, Werner Koster, who exclusively used local poplars and stone for their construction. The rustic décor is completed with slate floors, hand-made furniture and wood finishes. Each comfortable chalet sleeps four and includes air-conditioning, bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette and own private barbeque area. The night sounds of jackal calling create the ambiance of Africa and make this a nature lover's paradise.
