What a GEM!
After a grueling drive from Johannesburg, the stay at Lemoenfontein was an absolute pleasure. The accommodation was very comfortable, the hospitality of the highest order and the food really something special.
We would recommend this stop-over to all travelers to the Cape.

Accommodation in the refurbished room, which we stayed in was superb. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
A good break in the long journey.

Lemoenfontein is a very quiet, relaxing and green "island" in the Karoo. Friendly hospitality, nice rooms, good breakfast and excellent cooked dinner. So you can stay there and don't have to drive the -because of the road condition- strenious way to the next town Beaufort West to have dinner.

We enjoyed our stay at Lemoenfontein. We only stayed two nights but this oasis in the karoo is worth a longer stay if you want to relax, enjoy reading a book that is long overdue or just spend time with your loved one. The staff is very friendly and the accommodation is perfect. The meals are not gourmet but "goede kos"
