On the slopes of the majestic Langeberg mountains, Les Hauts de Montagu, a tranquil 600-hectare farm, is 3 km from the historic village of Montagu on R62. Unwind with the beauty of nature in this tranquil setting, where Eric and Myriam have revived the French tradition by restoring the original French Huguenot farm, dating back to 1865. Rooms all have private patios with superb views, heated bathrooms and outdoor showers, fireplaces for romantic winter stays, tea trays and bar fridges. Cool off in the mountain-fed pool, enjoy a hike on the many surrounding trails or relax in the peaceful and tranquil garden. The charming chapel with hand-painted interiors is perfect for small weddings.

A lovely place. Rooms, service and breakfasts were all first class. It is a pity they no longer do dinner but Montagu is very close.
