Description |
(Location: Oyster Bay, near St Francis Bay) A spectacular private coastal reserve on 235 hectares of unspoilt landscape bordering a 3,5 km private sandy beach, one of the longest in South Africa. This picturesque setting of dunes, woodlands, river deltas, wetlands and lagoons is home to free roaming horses and prolific birdlife. The Lodge has five comfortable guest rooms, an intimate restaurant with excellent cuisine, lounge and ocean viewing bar. Separate chalets have a verandah with sea views, lounge with fireplace, underfloor heating, kitchenette and open-plan bathroom. Enjoy walking, birding, horse riding, biking or a picnic, brought to you on horseback. Tsitsikamma and Baviaanskloof Reserves nearby. Golf 20 minutes. TGCSA 4-Star Lodge. French, German and Dutch spoken.

Directions to Get There :
From Cape Town
Coming from Cape Town on the N2 turn off at exit no. 632 Palmietvlei and follow the signs to Oyster Bay Lodge for 24 km. Oyster Bay Lodge is situated on the right-hand side of the road.
From Port Elizabeth
From Port Elizabeth take the N2 to Humansdorp. Take the exit Humansdorp/St. Francis/Oyster Bay. After entering Humansdorp at the stopstreet, go straight into the main street. At the end of the road turn right at the T-junction to Oyster Bay and follow the signs Oyster Bay Lodge. After 23 km Oyster Bay Lodge is situated on the left-hand side of the road.
