Description |
(Location: Between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp) A productive farm at the foot of the Swartberg mountains where cattle, sheep, ostriches and grapes are farmed. A scenic, circular route links the farm to the Cango Caves and majestic passes. Self-contained cottages, circa 1880, have spectacular views in a valley of vineyards, surrounded by red stone hills. Farm style antiques, fireplaces, DSTV and barbeques. Farm tours, birding, swimming, horse riding, biking, hiking and rock art. Geology (fossils) and botanical courses are offered on specified dates. Children. TGCSA 3- and 4-Star Self-Catering.
