Thatcher's Country Guest House is set on a working farm, between Ladysmith and Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal. This charming thatched homestead has warm and welcoming bedrooms with heating and tea tray. Enjoy hearty farm breakfasts on the verandah overlooking a dam. Lunch and delicious dinners served. Relax around cosy log fires on a winter’s evening. The self-catering Cottage has 3 en suite bedrooms. Hiking, fishing, birding and swimming on the farm, or horse ride nearby. Tour the Battlefields of Isandlwana, Rorke’s Drift and Elandslaagte.

Absolutely brilliant! The BEST accomadation/ location and with June to look after us it made our whole holiday, can't speak highly enough of this treasue. Can't wait to go back.
