Set in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province, less than four hours’ drive from Johannesburg, The Bush House is more than a Game Lodge, it’s your home in Big Five country, where a friendly team ensures a relaxing safari experience, it is also home to rare wild dog, cheetah and brilliant birdlife.

The Bush House has a large, shaded garden with a rock pool overlooking the reserve, the perfect spot to relax between game drives as the animals come to drink at the waterhole, metres from your sun lounger. Every meal is an occasion, whether a dinner in the boma under the stars or afternoon tea in the garden; and when the evening is over, comfy beds beckon for a sound night’s sleep.
