Description
Victoria Bay is one of the hidden gems of the Garden Route, a small charming seaside bay with a superb safe swimming beach. The Waves is a restored historic homestead, originally built in 1906. Iain and Liza offer a relaxing and comfortable retreat on the beachfront, with a jetty opposite, where visitors can experience the sound of the waves and the scent of the sea. Breakfast on the patio while watching dolphins most of the year, and whales in season. An adjacent double-storey wooden cottage has two units with sun decks and superb views.

Directions to Get There : From CPT and George Airport - travel easterly on N2. Approximately 2 km's from where the N2 becomes dual traffic and speed limit becomes 80 km you will see the sign Victoriabaai. Do not turn off at Victoria Heights. Take the turn to the right still on a tarred road. Stay on the tarred road for 2.7 km's to a traffic circle. At the circle there is a blue steel traffic control gate which says this road is for Resident vehicles only. Park in the parking area near the gate but not in front of the gate. The Waves is a 300m stroll stroll away from the parking. Please collect the key for the gate from The Waves to bring your car in as we have parking at The Waves for you. In inclement weather or if you have difficulty walking, please use your mobile phone to contact us and we will come to the gate to open it for you.
