Description
Only two hours north from Durban in a malaria-free area, Thula Thula, the oldest private game reserve in KwaZulu Natal, offers Zulu history, style and gourmet cuisine. The Safari Lodge has 8 luxury air-conditioned chalets decorated in ethnic and Colonial style with private verandahs. The new relaxed Tented Camp has 8 stylish tents each with private viewing deck and en suite bathroom with Victorian bath and outdoor shower. Exciting safaris in open Landrovers to encounter elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, hyena and superb birdlife. Visit the Zulu village to meet the “Sangoma”, or the nearby Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Reserve. French and Italian spoken. Safari Lodge R1 500 to R2 500 pps with meals & safaris.
