I'm not sure how to rate this guest house highly enough! We stayed for 3 nights and really didn't want to leave!
The accommodation, location, views, food and service are all excellent but the real highlight is how friendly and welcoming the staff are! Nothing is too much trouble and everybody is always smiling and happy to see you.
A real gem, stay at De Zeekow, you won't regret it!!

Lovely buildings and character - rooms rather dark but well decorated and appointed. Bed was comfortable and mosquito nets handy.
We ate dinner from a set menu that offered a couple of choices and found very tasty and competent cooking.
The meat (as to be expected) was cooked beautifully.
A great stopover for the Ostrich experience, Cango Caves and of course Meerkats if you are that way inclined (we weren't but can see the attraction!).

This must be the quietest most peaceful place on earth and we wished that we had booked for longer! The room was veryclean and comfortable with complementary sherry! Swimming in the pool under the S. African sun was idyllic and very refreshing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us well. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay near Outshoorn.

We find our stay @ De Zeekoei very pleasant, we stayed for 4 Nights & were treated like royalty, Although being situated on a fully functional echo friendly working farm the atmosphere is very peaceful. The rooms are decorated exceptionally well, equipped with King size beds with very comfortable matresess, on suite Bath room & shower, AC/ Heater plus many more. The food @ their restaurant is great - (not your avarice boring menus) their in house chef is very talented & surprised us with various tasteful dishes like Spring buck Pie, Traditional Boboti, Ostrich neck just to mention a few. The full continental breakfasts were also of high standard, with the owner Paula Potgieter always there to make sure that all the guest's needs are attended to. Apart from the activities in the surrounding area De Zeekoei have quite a few in house activities like, the famouse Meerkat tours, horse riding, echo farm tours, swimming pool & cycling just to mention a few of them. Thanks to We stayed @ De Zeekoe April 2010, our host were Paula Potgieter (the owner-manageres) she & her staf treated us like roualty. This guest farm being part of an echo farm has a very tranquil atmosfhere every morning the birds woke us with song. Our very tastefull furniched room had a full en-suite bathrooms & open-air shower, a king sized bed, minibar, air-conditioning/heater, towling & gowns to mention just a few. Even with the activities in the surounding Outshoorn aria, De Zeekoe host several inhouse activities like the famous Meerkat tours, echo farm tours, horse riding, bird whatching, cycling, swimming pool & stargazing The inhouse resturant & new chef surprised us with delicious dinners like traditional bobotie, spring buck pie, ostridge neck & all the meals were sereved with organic veggies Thank to Paula & her staff for the wounderful time, We loved it here and we will certainly come back for more Jaco, Naomi & Rheeba van Niekerk
