This fruit-growing corner of Mpumalanga is jam packed with things to see and do, best known of which is visiting the Kruger National Park. But you’ll find plenty to see and do once you’ve had your fill of game drives. And the good news is, White River is outside of the malaria area, so if you’re not doing the Kruger you won’t need to take the anti-malarial meds for a White River weekend away. White River is close enough to the towns of Sabie, Graskop, Hazyview and Nelspruit to work well as a base from which to explore most of the Mpumalanga province.
