Palmiet Valley is an operating wine estate at the foot of the Drakenstein mountains near Paarl. Originally built in 1692, the historic Cape Dutch homestead has been restored to its former glory by its German owner.
Surrounded by ancient oak trees and peaceful vineyards, the estate is a 30-minute drive from Cape Town and minutes to famous golf courses and wine estates in South Africa.
The owner-managed guest house offers comfort and tranquillity. Rooms have been furnished with quality antiques in the style of the 1800s.
