Don takes great pride in his B&B, and there are lots of personal touches that delight and amuse. I just love the ‘acorn’ chocolates and ‘acorn’ branded vintage car. And the colonial safari ambience throughout is perfect for this gracious old Berea home.

GUEST FEEDBACK

A Durban Gem

"Don's superb B&B was perfectly situated (10 minutes from the city, ICC, beach, stadium and 3 mins from the Botanical GArdens) The accommodation was excellent. We were made to feel so very welcome. The room, furnishings, food and surroundings deserves every one of the 4 SA Tourism Grading Stars. I loved all the quirky little touches, especially our leaving gift. Thanks again, Don."

Quaint!

"We enjoyed our stay at Acorn which is outside of town but close enough to travel to. We only had a night there and Don made it worth our while. We took advantage of the tour option and saw more of Durban and learned more of the past and present history than we ever would have on our own! We sampled local food and saw sooo much!! The decor is nice with nice rooms and it's in a safe area. If you're looking for a safe and quaint place in Durban, this is it!"
