Incredible décor and out of this world breakfasts in the heart of the magical Cape Winelands. The vineyard air will leave you feeling invigorated, while tFransvliet's very own quality olive oil serves as the ideal reminder of a wonderful getaway (take as much home with you as you can manage - it's incredible!)

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Fransvliet Guest House which we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Franschhoek and its surrounds. Shirley, Victor and Vicky looked after us beautifully and we were treated to the best breakfasts of our 2 week stay in South Africa, Shirley is a really terrific cook and hostess. The rooms are lovely, large bright and airy with all required amenities and large very comfortable beds. We would return again in a heartbeat should we be fortunate to be able to visit South Africa again."

Delightful place with friendly staff

"My wife and I stayed here for two nights with our 16 month old daughter on 17-19 Feb. We arrived early as our flight landed in the morning at Cape Town International and our room was ready for us straights away. The property was easy to find from the directions given and Victor asked if we had plans for dinner and arranged a table for the evening in a restaurant. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom had both bath and separate shower as well as two sinks. The wardrobe had a safe for you to use. A fridge also contained a selection of drinks and food, some produced on the farm. Rooms were very clean and had both fan and AC. Wish we chose to stay here longer as we loved Franschhoek and both Paarl and Stellenbosch were within driving distance. A good location for wine tasting as well with La Motte vineyard just across the road. Would definitely visit again should we return SA"

"I had a wonderful weekend at Fransvliet Guest House. The accommodation was immaculate and of a very high standard. The staff were courteous and professional and made us feel very welcome. The morning breakfasts were superb. We felt at home and enjoyed the walks in the wineyard, as well as the pool facilities. The guest house was in easy distances from central Franschhoek. I have very high standards wrt holiday accommodation - this weekend breakaway, certainly ticked all the boxes for me."
