Situated along the banks of the Mokolo River in the malaria-free Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, just 3 hours from Gauteng, Kaingo has created an authentic game lodge experience for the whole family.
The Mokolo River, meaning "deep and silent" in the Tswana language, threads its way through the Reserve for 13km, leaving behind massive cliffs, sandy beaches, potholes and waterfalls, all waiting to be explored. Guided safaris showcase elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and hyena, while night drives reveal the lesser known but equally fascinating honey badger, caracal, aardvark and pangolin.
In the middle of this unique landscape you'll find the Elephant Lodge, an oasis surrounded by bush and mountains. Each air-conditioned room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, an electronic safe, a mini bar fridge, satellite TV and hairdryer.
Kaingo’s convenient location makes it an ideal venue for conferences as well as for exclusive group travel, where a party can book the entire lodge with private use of the game viewers and all facilities.
