GUEST FEEDBACK

Our stay at Lemoenfontein
14 Mar 2017

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lemoenfontein Game Lodge - it is an ideal stopover point on the drive through the Karoo en route to Capetown. In talking to other guests it was obvious that the lodge has built up a good word of mouth reputation and would appear to have become a well known establishment where you can have a very relaxing and enjoyable break from your long journey. Very nicely decorated airy rooms with luxuriously comfortable beds providing a very good night’s sleep after a long drive. Drinks and the Buffet Dinner served on the outside veranda with views over the reserve was a delightful experience on a warm balmy summer evening. The quality of the food and the friendly and attentive service was excellent and our overall experience was quite exquisite - we will definitely be back for more of the same. "

"We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Lemoenfontein Game Lodge. As we arrived we were greeted by a family of giraffes. Our welcome to the lodge was equally very friendly. Very comfortable rooms, excellent food and good service - if in the area we would certainly stay again. "

"What a fabulous oasis on a long drive from KZN Midlands to the West Coast. The whole venue is very pretty and quiet tucked under the mountains overlooking plains and Beaufort West in the distance. The bedroom and bathroom were clean comfortable luxurious and there was endless hot water. Supper and Breakfast were superb and served on a deep wide verandah. There was a good wine list and an honesty bar which worked well."

"Lemoenfontein is a very quiet, relaxing and green "island" in the Karoo. Friendly hospitality, nice rooms, good breakfast and excellent cooked dinner. So you can stay there and don't have to drive the -because of the road condition- strenious way to the next town Beaufort West to have dinner."

"We enjoyed our stay at Lemoenfontein. We only stayed two nights but this oasis in the karoo is worth a longer stay if you want to relax, enjoy reading a book that is long overdue or just spend time with your loved one. The staff is very friendly and the accommodation is perfect. The meals are not gourmet but "goede kos""
