ABOUT Queen Victoria Hotel

The Queen Victoria Hotel, tucked away in a quiet corner of the bustling V&A Waterfront, is a unique five-star boutique hotel. Located within a precinct of heritage buildings along Portswood Road – a main artery leading to and from the Waterfront – the Queen Victoria Hotel gives you a sense of being within the Waterfront’s vicinity but removed from the frenetic pace of it.

The advantage of this is that you have easy access to the Waterfront shopping precincts, harbour, restaurants and other attractions – yet you are positioned away from it all, in a secluded enclave that overlooks majestic Table Mountain, the City Bowl, Cape Town Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean.

Situated next door to Dock House Boutique Hotel & Spa, guests have access to The Sanctuary Spa and pool at Dock House Boutique Hotel and they can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel’s fine-dining OYO Restaurant & Cocktail Bar.

Expect a sophisticated experience where attention to detail is paramount, from the customised wallpaper uniquely designed with a cameo portrait of Queen Victoria and the laser-cut, paper-on-paper artwork of local fynbos to the hotel’s very own designer fragrance that wafts through the suites and foyer.

There are three suites and 32 luxury rooms, each one individually designed and curated. The three types of suites catering to guest requirements are The Executive Suite, The Mountain Junior Suite and the “jewel in the crown” - The Presidential Suite with a wrap-around balcony and panoramic views of Table Mountain and the harbour. With a dining room and a large bathroom, this suite has been designed in such a way that the flow of interior and exterior space is ambiguous, guests are invited to linger longer and soak up the breathtaking scene set in front of them.

The 32 remaining rooms offer 15 x Deluxe rooms and 17 x Premium rooms, all of which are fitted with high-tech amenities such as flat-screen TVs and WiFi. Other facilities include a state-of-the-art g with personal trainers, secure parking and full concierge and professional child minding service.

DIRECTIONS & MAP

Directions:

If travelling into the V&A Waterfront from the N1 and N2 highways on Dock Road, pass the Aquarium on your right and follow
the road until you reach the traffic circle just after the Ulundi undercover parking garage on the left. Turn left at the traffic circle
into Portswood Road and turn first left into the Portswood precinct area (directly after the Everard Read Gallery building). You
will see an entrance to undercover parking straight ahead, but do not proceed underground, instead keep left and pass the
entrance to the Portswood Hotel. Turn left and enter through a security boom. The Queen Victoria Hotel is situated on your
right hand side. You may park in one of the Queen Victoria bays.
