The Palms Resort is a sanctuary for those in search of tranquility…a place to stimulate the senses and experience the very best of the Island of Zanzibar. The island is a magical place where the fusion of Arab, African and European cultures has created a pace of life, a style of cuisine and a colourful tapestry of heritage that is found nowhere else in the world. Rustling coconut palms, white powder sand and the warm waves of the Indian Ocean combine to create a stunning escape for the discerning traveller.
With just six villas, this exclusive resort is the perfect, romantic getaway. The beautifully designed villas offer luxurious comforts with personal attention throughout your stay. Each villa features a sophisticated interior of hand carved furniture and beautiful fabrics - a unique marriage of colonial grandeur and traditional design. Additional room features include a private outdoor plunge pool, safe deposit box, mini bar, satellite TV, telephone and air conditioning.
An elegant colonnaded terrace at The Plantation House leads into a spice inspired bar and an elegant dining room where exotic cuisine is creatively presented reflecting the spices and flavours of the Island, fusing just caught with freshly picked. Private thatched “bandas” shelter day beds and loungers to provide intimate beachfront privacy on the award winning Bwejuu – Paje beach. The beachfront Sanctuary Spa offers a selection of world-class treatments designed to stimulate your senses and rejuvenate your soul. Nearby facilities include a swimming pool, fitness center, tennis court, Rising Sun PADI 5* Dive Center and The Water Club. Part of The Zanzibar Collection.
