Catch the Ferry from the Cruise Terminal at 10.00 or 14.30 and enjoy a short trip on the lagoon to the Nature Reserve. The morning trip includes a buffet lunch. The views from the Western Head are amazing and the walk is not too strenuous, i.e. approx.. 2 kms.
Visit Brenton-on-Sea and walk along the pristine beach from Brenton to Buffalo Bay (walk the whole distance in approx.. 3 hours).

Pembreys – on the Brenton-on-Sea Road is one of the best restaurants in the area. Caters for the more mature market. Menus changes at least once a month!
JJs – at the Knysna Waterfront. Enjoy an evening of good food and singing by the staff – have a taste of the local Xhosa music!
34ºS – for excellent variety of seafood. Super atmosphere but not for a quiet romantic evening.

Wild Oats market – Held every Saturday morning (07.30 – 12.00) in Sedgefield (20 kms from Knysna). Enjoy the food market or the arts and crafts on display. Loads of atmosphere.
Pick & Pay Knysna Oyster Festival – Held during the first 2 weeks in July every year. Mainly a sporting festival but loads of oysters to enjoy.
Speed Festival – Held in May. Join all the motor enthusiasts and experience the Jaguar Simola Hillclimb.
