Sri Sri is the founder of the Art of Living Foundation (AOL) and the International Association for Human Values (IAHV). He will be in Durban on 25 August and in Cape Town 26 – 28 August 2012 to conduct a public events as well as a meditation course.
The visit to Cape Town comes as the Art of Living prepares to open an International Centre for Peace in Cape Town – the first in Africa. Sri Sri’s vision is that the center will help promote “a wave of peace that will spread throughout Africa”. On his last visit, Sri Sri addressed thousands of participants when he was invited as an honoured guest to address the culmination of South Africa’s year-long “Satyagraha 100” celebrations by the national and provincial governments which honoured Gandhi’s passive resistance campaign.
