The oldest wine estate in South Africa, established in 1685, Groot Constantia became famous throughout the world for its sweet wines. Today, set in the beautiful Constantia winelands with views of False Bay, a variety of cultivars are grown here. The Manor House boasts an exhibition of fine traditional Cape furniture, paintings, textiles, ceramics, brass and copperware.
The Orientation Centre in the Jonkershuis complex consists of panels, objects and archaeological exhibits. The Coach House has a display of carriages. The Wine Museum is in the historic wine cellar.
