Neighbourgoods Market The Old Biscuit Mill

Cape Town, Western Cape
Food + Shop

There are two Neighbourgoods Markets in South Africa – the original market at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, Cape Town, and the relatively new version in Braamfontein, Johannesburg (see pg 28). What started out as a simple food-market concept has grown with the exciting combination of fresh produce from suppliers countrywide, combined with design, vintage gear and fashion items that celebrate South African creativity, and there’s a great vibe! The markets take place every Saturday and attract foodies, fashionistas and trendsetters. There’s an assortment of delicious goods on offer from gourmet merchants, speciality cooks, regional farmers and urban artisans. There are spaces to socialise and shoot the breeze, and to enjoy whatever delicious eats you have purchased on the day.
