Two Oceans Aquarium

Cape Town, Western Cape

As one of the top tourist attractions in Cape Town, the Two Oceans Aquarium on the V&A Waterfront showcases the beauty and diversity of life from the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.

Awe-inspiring exhibits feature iconic African penguins, quirky Knysna seahorses, toothy juvenile ragged-tooth sharks, vibrant tropical beauties such as the Picasso triggerfish and devil firefish, and the master of camouflage, the octopus. A firm favourite is the immersive clownfish (aka Nemo) exhibit where hundreds of these orange and white fish swarm around the heads of visitors.

Fun, interactive exhibits, such as the Microscope, Touchpool and the new Smart Living Challenge Zone will intrigue visitors of all ages and inspire them to take steps towards a greener footprint and a healthier, happier world.

Besides immersive exhibits, the Aquarium offers penguin encounters with adorable rockhopper penguins and dives with turtles, rays and shoals of large fish – a dive that cannot be experienced in the wild. Visitors can also discover the marine life of Table Bay aboard the Ocean Adventurer catamaran. Trained guides share their knowledge of the rich biodiversity of Cape Town’s waters and there is always a chance to spot dolphins, seals, sunfish and whales.

The Aquarium offers a world-class, safe, clean and all-weather experience, all designed to ensure unforgettable memories for young and old to treasure.
